Fan FrAQtions

What Is A Fan Fraction?
It's a very small fan fiction. There is a huge need for such a thing amongst people who want to read what Dr Who is unofficially getting up to, but don't have much time.

What Are The Rules?
No more than 200 words. No more than 2,000 characters. You can send in pictures by email, and we'll put them in for you. If you're writing a story about Moschops, refer to Moschops at some point. If you're not going to be funny, which we'd prefer, be incredibly earnest.

What's With This Green / Yellow / Red story shit?
Green stories are good. Red stories are shit. Yellow stories we're not sure about yet. This is how it works.

Green Stories : Can be browsed publicly. Can be linked to with the provided "story links". Will appear in the "latest 5" and upcoming "random" searches.

Yellow Stories : Can be browsed by logged in users. Can be linked via "story links". Won't appear in random and latest searches.

Red Stories : Well, they're there. But you have to earn the right to see them. We don't want you linking to them from outside. That would make us look shit.

New stories will start off yellow, until we see them and decide they're red or green material.

Can I write a Fan Fraction?
God yeah. Register on the login page, and you can start right away. Your story will be instantly there for logged in users, and will be publicly available once approved.

Can I Be Dirty?
You certainly can. But don't just say "then Hitler got out his dong and piddled on Harry Hill, who blinked a bit and licked his lips". Be better than that. No, actually that's OK. Be better than "Gandalf fiddled with his staff for half an hour until he went all white".

You can be dirty, but try harder to be funny.

Any Other Usual Website Submission Bullmuffin?
Of course. Anything you submit belongs to the Disappointment chain of two websites, and we are allowed to use it however we see fit, and edit it to shipshape. Be certain, however, that our high editing standards does not stretch to our own submissions which you will look at and think "fuck, mine's better than that".

Can I use HTML?
You can you italic tags. That's because italics are all cool. You can't have bold and you certainly can't make your text huge and brown. Grow up. You can't have <img> tags, either, so don't post pictures. If you want to do a Fan Doodle, email the image (500 pixels wide) to the address above. Chairs.
